Secret Bet App Download
for Nigeria
A plain walkthrough for getting Secretbet running on your phone — Android APK first, iOS home-screen second, with the small fixes for the questions that come up along the way.
Why download the Secret Bet app
The mobile build mirrors the desktop site, but the layout is tuned for thumbs and small screens. Same account, same balance.
Quick boot
Opens in a few seconds on most mid-range Android phones, even on patchy data. The lobby is compact rather than image-heavy.
Sportsbook + casino
One profile covers the sportsbook, slots, live tables and crash games. No second wallet or extra registration.
Opay-ready
Opay, Paystack, Moniepoint and bank transfer hooked straight into the deposit screen. ₦100 minimum on most rails.
Live betting
In-play markets refresh on the same screen as the bet slip. Cash-out shows when it's available without an extra tap.
Match alerts
Optional push notifications for goals, cash-out windows and bet settlement. Turn them off any time from the app settings.
Account control
Two-factor sign-in, device session view and self-service deposit limits inside the profile — small features that add up.
What runs it, what doesn't
Most phones bought in the last four years will run it. If yours is older or the storage is tight, see the troubleshooting notes further down.

Secret Bet app download on Android in seven steps
Google Play does not list real-money betting apps in Nigeria, so the Android build ships as a sideloaded APK. The flow is normal Android — nothing exotic.
-
Open the Secretbet site
From your Android phone, open Chrome or Samsung Internet and load the official Secretbet site. Don't install an APK from an unknown SMS link or social-media post — only the official site is safe.
-
Find the Android download
Scroll to the mobile-app block on the homepage. Tap the green Android tile. The browser will prompt you to download the APK file.
-
Allow installs from this source
If this is your first sideloaded APK on the phone, Android shows a permission screen. Open Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps → pick your browser → toggle Allow from this source. Then return to the download.
-
Confirm the download
Tap Download anyway if Chrome warns about the file. This warning appears for every sideloaded APK — it doesn't mean the file is bad. Wait until the notification shows the download is complete.
-
Open the APK and install
Open the file from the notification or from the Downloads folder. Tap Install. Installation usually finishes in 10–20 seconds.
-
Launch and sign in
Tap Open. If you already have a Secretbet account, sign in with your registered phone number or email. If not, register from the welcome screen — see the 3-step registration recap on the home page.
-
Turn off "unknown sources" again
Optional but recommended. Go back to Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps and disable the toggle for your browser. This keeps random apps from being installed later without your knowledge.
Install on iPhone in four steps
There is no App Store listing — gambling apps generally aren't distributed there. iPhone users add the site as a home-screen shortcut and run it like a native app.
-
Open Safari (not Chrome)
On iPhone, you have to use Safari for the home-screen step. Chrome on iOS does not show the same Add-to-Home-Screen option. Load the official Secretbet site in Safari.
-
Tap the share icon
Tap the share button — the small square with an upward arrow in the centre of the bottom toolbar. The share sheet slides up.
-
Pick "Add to Home Screen"
Scroll the action list until you find Add to Home Screen. Tap it, confirm the name (you can keep "Secretbet"), then tap Add in the top right.
-
Launch from the home screen
The Secretbet icon now sits on your home screen like any other app. Tap it — the site opens in full-screen, hides the Safari address bar and behaves like a native iOS app.
Small problems, quick fixes
The issues below come up most often during install. Most have a fix that takes under a minute.
| What you're seeing | What to do |
|---|---|
| "App not installed" after tapping Install | Free up 100 MB or more on the device, then retry. If it persists, uninstall any older Secretbet APK first. |
| "There was a problem parsing the package" | The APK didn't finish downloading. Delete the file from the Downloads folder, re-download over Wi-Fi or 4G, and try again. |
| Chrome blocks the download | Tap Download anyway on the warning. This is normal for sideloaded APKs and not a sign the file is harmful. |
| Can't see "Install unknown apps" in Settings | Some carrier-branded ROMs hide it. Use the Settings search box for "unknown" — the toggle is named slightly differently on Samsung, Tecno and Infinix. |
| iPhone shows no "Add to Home Screen" | You're in Chrome or another browser. Open the same URL in Safari and tap the share icon. |
| App keeps logging me out | Clear the app's cache from device Settings → Apps → Secretbet → Storage. Then sign back in. |
| Slow loading on patchy data | Move to a 4G area or Wi-Fi for the first session — the app caches assets after the first launch and is lighter afterwards. |
A note on safety
Only ever download the Secretbet APK from the official site. Files shared on WhatsApp, Telegram or unofficial mirror sites can be tampered with — and your account credentials are the prize. The official site is the only place we recommend.
Common questions
Is the Secretbet app free to download?
Yes. The Android APK and the iOS home-screen shortcut are free. You only pay when you choose to deposit and place a bet — and that is always your decision.
Will the app work on older phones?
It runs on Android 7.0 and newer, and iOS 13 and newer. On phones older than that, use the mobile browser version instead — it's lighter and skips the install step entirely.
Does the app use a lot of data?
Day-to-day browsing is roughly 10–30 MB per hour. Live-streamed events are heavier — closer to 200 MB per hour at standard quality. Pre-load the app on Wi-Fi if you're tight on data.
Can I have the app on more than one device?
Yes. Sign in on as many devices as you like with the same account. The operator may require a fresh login or 2FA confirmation when you sign in from a new device — that's a security feature, not a fault.
How do I update the Android app?
Updates are not pushed through the Play Store. The app shows an update prompt when a new version is published — tap to download the newer APK and install it over the existing one. Your account, balance and settings carry over.
How do I uninstall the app?
On Android: long-press the icon → Uninstall. On iPhone: long-press the home-screen icon → Remove App → Delete from Home Screen. Your account is unaffected — sign back in any time on any device.
